On 27th April 2016 a group of Year 10 students who are studying French, travelled to stay at the Château de Warsy in Picardie, Northern France.

They participated in a range of exciting and challenging activities such as fencing, obstacle course, kayaking and canoeing.

A wonderful evening was spent beside the camp fire and the students undertook some languages activities in the nearby town, putting their knowledge of French to excellent use. Their learning was enhanced beyond the classroom walls.

On 23rd March 2016, we were invited to attend a filming session with the Make it Digital Team working with on the MicroBit at the BBC Studios – here are a few photographs of the girls in action.

On Thursday 4th February, our STEM Club hosted a Speed Dating Event. Special guests included Neil Carmichael, MP and Chair of the Commons Education Select Committee, Kirsten Bodley CEO of STEMNET along with 7 STEM Ambassadors.

In STEM Club we have been working on several projects including the London STEM Leader Award. We had to interview each STEM Ambassador, ask them questions about their job, then write a report about the event.

The whole evening was Amazing!!

We were delighted to receive a letter from the Department of Education on Thursday 4th February congratulating us upon winning a local Pupil Premium Award.
